We started our vacation on Friday evening. The travel time from Oregon to Utah will take 17hours, so we devided the travel to 2 days. Tge first night must spend on the side of the road, so I called renegate camping.
The beauty having a travel trailer is to stop anywhere you can where it feels safe, and you have your bed and bathroom ready anytime.
We stop at Burns - OR to get gas and Subway for dinner. We kept going till Jantura, a little town before we hit Freeway 84 East. On the side of the road, there were spot that safe to park and make a camp. There were 2 other travellers have been there before us, so we just blending in with the crowd.
After the trailer parked and unhooked from the car, we are ready to call the day! It was a little bit weird to sleep on the side of the road, but after a while Im used to the highway noises. In the middle of the night I heard 2 more travellers joining the crowd...
Early in the morning Jack got up and made road breakfast (coffee and bagel) we eat, using the bathroom, refresh ourself and get back to road, continuing the drive to Dead Horse Point State Park - Utah, where we gonna spend 4 nights.
Renegate camping is awesome, its FREE and FUN!!
