Our camping destination was Bend Bull Campground, on the other side of this location. When we get there the campground was FULL and the campers doesnt look inviting.
We were so disappointed and then turned back to the main road heading to this Wyeth CG. Gosh, we found the best site with a trailer pull out, so easy to park our Airstream.
I learn how to use our new Airstream in this trip. We got more essential stuff from Jerry's RV on South 97 Hwy - Bend, such as: my green grassy outdoor rug, plastic blocks for the wheels and the yellow plastic chocks.
Stuff that we need on the next trip :
Dish from REI
Kitchen gadgets : peeler, splater screen
More Grey Mats
Drawer liners
Pop-up trash can
Our dinner menu is foil meal cooked in the oven. Jack had a hard time to turn on the oven but thank to manual that always become the best reference.
We learnt that the oven temperature is not standard, need to crank on higher than the household oven. Took a longer time to cook our foil meal. Our meal turn to be tasty and we enjoyed them on our dining table.
Using the oven doesn't make the inside temperature hot at all. It cooled down fast.
Wyeth CG only have 4 sites with boat ramp and fishing spots. Hoodoo Management provided the campground with 1 toilet facility but no water. Taking a trailer is the best way to camp here.
Our first in the trailer was awesome. I don't need to walk in the dark to use toilet. Bed is so comfy and I spent long time reading book on my iPad.
We slept like sleeping beauty, got up after 8 am. Jack made me a cup of coffee, Gold Coast Blend Starbucks. So good to start my day with a great cup of coffee and homemade shortbread from local bakery here in Bend.
One day before this trip I went to Newport Market to get some quality groceries. This morning it's the time to cook up those Applewood bacon, potato and eggs for brunch. The trailer's stove worked great, meals cooked with love by my lovely husband.
I had 2 great lazy days in Wyeth CG. Slept a lot, spent time reading and just hanging out with Jack, without doing any cardio activities. This is what I really need after long working hours last week.
Hhhmm.... what's for next week?
I'm an easy going person, like to networking and talking about everything with a cup of coffee on my hand.
